meeting in Milan on January 11, 2010 with Mr. Min Castelli Cattaneo and Mr. Mr. Ass Mayors

1. HISTORY PROJECT

Preliminary Project RFI (2003):

- Construction of a 3rd track to accompany the current two-track line (trivialized) for the entire route: RHO - Gallarate

- increase of 50% of trains: passengers / day (PAX = 24> 36), Regional (R = 166> 252) and Merci (M = 29> 20), 219 [1] to 308 trains [2] ,

- Noise barriers to 6 feet tall,

- Localization The 3rd track in the current airbase (owned property) rail (RFI), for most of trafficking.

SIA - Environmental Impact Study ITALFERR (2003) ...

Dossier of engineering ITALFERR (October 2008), its approval RFI (January 2009) and Report System (June 2009)

ITALFERR Final Project (July 2009):

- Construction of a 3rd track to complement the current line with two tracks (trivialized), for sub question: Parabiago - Gallarate,

- Construction of a 3rd and 4th track to accompany the current two-track line (trivialized), for the sub is: RHO - Parabiago,

- Increase by 73% train: Sub regional (S), Regional (R) Long Distance (L) and Freight (M), the route Parabiago - CASTLE: from 219 [3] to 362 trains [4] ,

- increase of 100% of trains (Regional, Long Distance & Freight) for trafficking RHO - Parabiago: 219 to 434 trains [5] ,

- Noise barriers up to 8 meters high ,

- Location 3 rd Rail Route Parabiago - Gallarate 3rd and 4th Rail Route Rho - Parabiago airbase outside the current (state property) rail (RFI), and for many parts of it, especially at areas of high population density ,

- consequent expropriation / demolition housing for providing access roadway to city streets (which alongside the railway line) and for that reason being reduced cross-section.

7. REQUESTS COMMITTEE LEGNANO

- Final Cancellation of the project.
